Job: Grounds Maintenance Operative

Salary: £12.55 per hour

Area: Denton/ North-West

Yes that’s right, no more twiddling your thumbs!

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Grounds Maintenace Operative to join a growing team. Based in and around Denton, youll work across a variety of sites in Manchester and the Northwest, helping maintain high standards of horticultural care and site cleanliness.

What you’ll be doing;

  • Grass cutting (using pedestrian walk-behind and ride-on mowers)

  • Strimming and hedge trimming

  • Leaf clearance and litter picking

  • Bed preparation and planting

  • Maintaining weed-free sites and general upkeep of green spaces

You might be wondering what skills you need?

  • An interest in and basic knowledge of grounds maintenance or horticulture

  • A full UK driving licence (driver summary check required)

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for outdoor work
